The School provides an opportunity for the students to choose professional and basic academic courses with different combinations in B.Sc. providing an ideal platform to pursue a career in research and higher education. The School also offers Ph.D. programmes to students in these disciplines. The postgraduate students are encouraged for pioneer research in reputed labs/organization for internship/industrial training/dissertation/project work viz., BARC, ONGC, WII, ZSI, FRI, USERC, BSI, IIP, CIPLA, ITC, Britannia Ltd. etc. Every year the school also organizes extra-curricular and cocurricular activities, workshops seminars, webinars, field excursions etc. for the up gradation of students and faculties and the School has its own students council “The Anthelions” which help organise and encourage maximum participation from the students. The past several years have seen most of our students excel in their respective discipline either in the area of competitive examinations like NET/GATE/SLET etc. for entry in higher education institutions or qualifying in Govt. /private jobs. We are proud of the progress of our students and in future, shall continue to provide knowledge, skills and competencies specifically required in the field of higher education.

I completed both my bachelor's and master's degrees from SGRR University and my five years there truly shaped who I am today. Looking back, I feel deeply grateful for everything the university gave me — not just academically, but in every aspect of my growth. From sports facilities to regular cultural programs, the college provided a balanced environment where I could explore my interests beyond the classroom. What stands out most to me is how SGRR University helped build my confidence and leadership qualities. My academic time at Shri Guru Ram Rai University was a very enriching and transformative experience. The Department of Mathematics provided me with a solid academic base that greatly impacted my analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
