Music is an art form, and cultural activity, whose medium is sound. It includes common elements such as pitch (which governs melody and harmony), rhythm (and its associated concepts tempo, meter, and articulation), dynamics (loudness and softness). Music is performed with a vast range of instruments and vocal technique as singing.
The Department of music is introducing from this year (2020) in SGRRU under School of Humanities and Social Sciences. At present the Music vocal and instrumental as Table and Sitar has introduced. The only aim is to enhancing the skills of our students, which leads to an increase in their productivity and output. Soon the short term courses will start in the department, which are job-oriented and full fill the objectives of the University.
