Course Overview

Shri Guru Ram Rai University established by Government of Uttarakhand vide Shri Guru Ram Rai University Act No.3 of 2017, is a premier University of North India. To develop a research culture and initiate research in thirty one fields, the university enrols interested applicants to its various Ph.D. programmes. Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences involves advanced study and research in drug development, delivery with therapeutic evaluation and much more.

Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences: Research Entrance Test  

  • Both papers will have 50-50 (100) multiple choices questions of one mark each.
  • The Entrance Test shall be of two-hour duration (i.e. 120 minutes). Applicants have to qualify in aggregate with 50% marks. All selected applicants will have to appear for a personal Interview which would carry 50 marks. List of selected applicants would be displayed on university web site.

Course Duration

Minimum 3 Years

Eligibility

Master’s degree in relevant discipline from a recognized University/ Institute with a minimum of 55% marks. Relaxation of 5% in the required percentage of marks will be given to applicants belonging to SC /ST/OBC/differently-abled categories.

Admission Process

Research Entrance Test (RET) / Valid GPAT Score.

Uniform Fee Extra

  • Fee structure subject to revision from time to time.
  • The Institute without any prejudice reserves the right to change or delete any information without any prior information.

Schedule of Depositing the Fee:

  • 1st Installment at the time of Admission.
  • 2nd, 4th, 6th and 8th Installment (as applicable) - Last Date Payment: 15th January each academic year.
  • 3rd, 5th and 7th Installment (as applicable) - Last Date Payment: 15th July each academic year.
