The Udergraduate course in CBZ,ZBG,PMG,PMS & PMD will impart the knowledge of basic subjects of science stream viz., Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, Geology, Physics, Mathematics, Defence studies and Statistics. Students having graduation degree in these basic science subjects may apply for any applied and basic subjects for Post-Graduation courses as well as government and industrial jobs. A wide array of subjects for Post-Graduation is available for students like Botany, Zoology, Chemistry, Geology, Microbiology, Biotechnology (For CBZ & PMG stream), Physics, Mathematics, Defence studies & Statistics (For PMD, PMS stream).

Schedule of Depositing the Fee:
  • 1st Installment at the time of Admission.
  • 2nd, 4th, 6th and 8th Installment (as applicable) - Last Date Payment: 15th January each academic year. 
  • 3rd, 5th and 7th Installment (as applicable) - Last Date Payment: 15th July each academic year.

 

Q.1 How are UG & PG Programmes designed?

Ans. Choice Based credit system with continuous evaluation is followed in semester pattern.

Q.2 At the time of counseling, is it enough if I produce Photostat copies of my certificates?

Ans. Sorry. Original certificates are to be produced

Q.3 What is the Eligibilty & criteria for UG courses?

Ans. To apply it is mandatory to have taken Science as a subject in your XII std. 45% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, Math & Biology is a necessary eligibility.

Q.4 Is there an entrance exam for UG Programmes?

Ans. No, there isn’t. Admission is on the basis of Grade XII marks & the counselling held in our campus.

Q.5 When did the admissions open?

Ans. May-june, 2018.

Q.6 Are hostel facilities available for all students?

Ans. Hostels for girls who come from outside are available on a sharing basis (3-to-a room). Accommodation is not available for family members, spouses and children of married students.

Q.7 What is the teacher student ratio at SGRRU?

The current teacher student ratio at SGRRU is approximately 1:6.

Q.8 Can I get campus jobs ?

Ans. A limited number of campus jobs are available under the Work – Earn programme. You can apply for these jobs on a monthly basis after joining the university.

Q.9 Does SGRRU offer online / distance learning programmes?

Ans. No. All Master’s and Research programmes are regular programmes and do not allow students to take up full time or even part-time jobs.

Q.10 Is SGRR University affiliated to any University for purpose of recognition of degrees?

Ans. No. Being a University, the question of affiliation to another university does not arise. Since the university is recognized by State Govt. Uttarakhand of India, the courses offered by SGRR University are recognized.

Q.11 At the time of counseling, is the presence of candidate compulsory?

Yes, the candidate along with his parent or guardian shall be present at the counseling desk.
