Welcome to the Department of Chemistry in School of Basic & Applied Sciences. Department is offering a range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses covering Organic, Inorganic and Physical chemistry. The department also facilitates student to carry out research leading to Ph.D degree. We have highly skilled, talented, competitive and learned faculty who are involved in cutting-edge research in many different areas of organic, inorganic, physical and analytical chemistry towards the enhancement of academic and industrial interactions. Apart from course curriculum, department also regularly organizes industrial visits, workshops and seminars to help students in enhancing their skill and understanding of the subject. Equal importance is given to both practical and theoretical methods of learning. The department aims to establish the state of-the art experimental facilities that will allow to venture into emergent interdisciplinary areas.
