Course Overview

The Undergraduate course in PMG will impart the knowledge of basic subjects of science stream viz., Geology, Physics and Mathematics. Students having graduation degree in these basic science subjects may apply for any applied and basic subjects for Post-Graduation courses as well as government and industrial jobs. A wide array of subjects for Post-Graduation is available for students like Geology, Physics, Mathematics, Remote Sensing. Geo-informatics etc. Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Geology, will provide you a path with the fundamental skills to begin a career in geology, and will be an excellent foundation for future studies. This degree is especially important for those who want to pursue a professional career in the field. If you are considering a career in geology, there are several different types of geology jobs available to graduates also. You can work in Geological Survey of India ( GSI), Geoscientist job, environmental consulting firms, petroleum companies, mining companies, power companies, environmental firms, nonprofits, or government agencies.
