Brief Profile

Dr. Jeevan Jyoti Kaushik holds a Ph.D. in Microbiology and a B.Ed. degree from the University of Jammu. With a strong academic and research background spanning over a decade, her primary areas of expertise include antimicrobial studies, enzyme research, and protein purification.

She has over 12 years of experience in teaching and research at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Dr. Kaushik served for eight years as an expatriate faculty member at Asmara College of Health Sciences, Asmara, Eritrea (North-East Africa), where she engaged with a diverse student community, enhancing her pedagogical skills and cross-cultural academic engagement.

Dr. Kaushik has authored one book, co-authored another, and recently released an edited volume with Bentham Science Publishers in 2025. She has published 37 research articles in reputed peer-reviewed journals. She recieved a project under the Women Scientist Scheme (WOS-A) by the Department of Science and Technology (DST), Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India in 2004.
