Brief profile

Dr. Subhash Chandra is an Associate Professor in the Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry of Sri Guru Ram Rai University, Dehradun, Uttarakhand, India. He received his Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Chemistry from UTU Dehradun, Uttarakhand, India. He obtained a M. Sc. in Pharmaceutical Chemistry from HNB Garhwal (A Central University), Srinagar Garhwal, Uttarakhand. Dr. Chandra has fifteen-plus years of experience in teaching and research. Dr. Chandra has filed/granted 5+ National and International patents. He has published 05 books, 04 book chapters, 95+ research articles (SCIE/ESCI/Scopus) in International journals of repute, and presented 40+ papers at National/International conferences. He is currently supervising more than six Ph.D. theses on addressing societal challenges through Natural product and their pharmacological application-based solutions and has successfully guided 1 Ph.D. and over 50 PG theses in related fields. He has received various prestigious awards for their achievement, including the Eminent, Emerging, Young Scientist Excellence, and M. S. Swaminathan Research Fellow Awards. Dr. Chandra is an active reviewer for various high-impact journals of Elsevier & Springer. He is ranked on the AD World Scientist University ranking list for 2022, 2023, 2024, and 2025 by AD Scientific Index.
