I am Sudesh Raturi, a B.Pharma 3rd year student at the School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Shri Guru Ram Rai University. What I appreciate most about our school is the well-maintained laboratories equipped with modern analytical instruments like HPLC, UV-Vis Spectrophotometer, and FTIR, where we perform synthesis, analysis, and quality control testing of pharmaceutical compounds. The faculty members are approachable and supportive, always guiding us in both academics and research. Beyond the curriculum, the campus offers a balanced environment with extracurricular activities such as sports week, cultural festivals, Zenith, and NSS initiatives. We also get opportunities for industrial training, which bridges the gap between theoretical knowledge and real-world pharmaceutical practices. My name is Krishankant Kushwaha, and I am currently pursuing my Pharm.D (Post Baccalaureate, 2nd Year) at Shri Guru Ram Rai (SGRR) University. Transitioning from a traditional B.Pharm background into the clinical rigor of a Pharm.D program is a significant leap, but studying at SGRRU has made this transformation incredibly rewarding. The greatest advantage of this program is our direct integration with Shri Mahant Indiresh Hospital. Navigating the wards of such a massive, multi-specialty teaching hospital beautifully bridges the gap between textbook pharmacology and real-world patient care. The sheer volume and diversity of clinical cases I encounter during my rotations provide unmatched, hands-on education in therapeutic drug monitoring, adverse drug reaction reporting, and direct patient counseling. Beyond the exceptional clinical infrastructure, the unwavering support from the pharmacy department’s faculty—particularly the continuous guidance from our Dean and HOD—has been instrumental in building my professional confidence. They have fostered a collaborative environment where clinical pharmacy interns are respected as vital members of the healthcare team alongside the medical staff. This current internship year is not just sharpening my clinical acumen, but deeply solidifying my passion for patient-centric pharmaceutical care.
