Brief profile

Dr. Shweta Sahni is Associate Professor in Dept. of Microbiology, Shri Guru Ram Rai University. She has qualified CSIR-UGC NET and has done Ph.D. in Microbiology. She has also worked as JRF in Jawaharlal Nehru University. Dr. Sahni has over 17 years of teaching and research experience. She has research expertise in the field of Probiotics, Biofertilizers and Biodegradation. She is well versed with Molecular Biology and Gene Cloning techniques. Currently, she is guiding 5 Ph.D. scholars and 1 student has been awarded Ph.D. degree. She has numerous publications in national and international journals.

Has published several research papers / book chapters of National and International repute. Participated in various seminars, conferences & workshops.
