BHA or Bachelor’s in Hospital Administration is a three year under-graduate full time degree course. Hospital Administration is a field related to Management/Administration of Hospitals. The course provides students, the knowledge and the skills to carry out management and administrative operations in the hospitals along with the various departments of the hospitals. Healthcare industry is a recession free industry It imbibes wonderful leadership qualities, moral and ethical values to serve better in healthcare field. It opens up lot of job opportunities to students of medicine/hospitals even if they are not from science background. Exposure to administrative experience in hospitals of repute.
As per the provision of NEP 2020, students who are willing to continue in the fourth year, will be awarded BHA (Hons.) degree. This program aims to develop analytical, managerial, and entrepreneurial skills required to thrive in the dynamic business world.
The Bachelor of Hospital Administration (BHA) is a 3-year full-time undergraduate program designed to prepare students for leadership and management roles in the healthcare sector. The program provides a strong foundation in hospital administration, healthcare management, healthcare laws, quality assurance, human resource management, finance, medical records, and hospital operations.
In accordance with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, students who successfully complete the fourth year of the program will be awarded the Bachelor of Hospital Administration (Honours) – BHA (Hons.), with enhanced knowledge in research, innovation, entrepreneurship, and advanced healthcare management.
