Dr. Nidhi Gairola has over 10.9 years of experience in teaching and research. She was honored with the prestigious Young Scientist Award at the 16th Uttarakhand State Science and Technology Congress (UCOST) held in June 2022. In recognition of her dedication to academic mentorship and excellence in education, she also received the Best Teacher Award from Uttaranchal University. Dr. Gairola has filed multiple patents in the area of Pharmacology and Drug Discovery, reflecting her innovative research contributions. Dr. Nidhi Gairola, Associate Professor in the Department of Pharmacology at Shri Guru Ram Rai University (SGRRU), Dehradun, is a committed academician and researcher with over 10.9 years of teaching and research experience. She holds a Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) degree from Jaypee University, Solan (H.P), a Master of Pharmacy (M.Pharm) in Pharmacology from Dr. D.Y. Patil College of Pharmacy, Pune, and earned her Ph.D. in Pharmacology from DIT University, Dehradun.
Her research expertise lies in the pharmacological evaluation of reproductive biology, especially focusing on the bioactive constituents of human follicular fluid and female infertility. She is actively engaged in research on herbal drug standardization, diabetic wound healing, and pharmacological screening of traditional medicinal plants.
She has actively participated in numerous national and international conferences and faculty development programs (FDPs).
