Executive Summary

A comprehensive orientation session was facilitated at our institution by Mr. Saurabh and Mr. Avdesh from Waste Warriors. It is a premier organization committed to ecological preservation in Himalayan terrains. The session addressed the escalating crisis of environmental degradation and the pivotal role of the youth in mitigating these challenges along with their experience as Eco pulse members and participation in ECOLYMPICS. The ecopulse members [ Mr. Rahul Sharma, Mr. Aaditya Rawat, Ms. Kashish Bora, Ms. Sanjana Uniyal, Mr. Lokesh + 35 students] showed attented the meeting with great enthusiasm and shared their experience.

Primary Objectives

  • Experience Integration: To gain profound insights into field experiences and challenges faced by members in remote hilly regions.
  • Student Mobilization: To catalyze proactive student participation in forthcoming ecological events.
  • Health Correlation: To evaluate the nexus between environmental sanitation and public health outcomes.
