Session on "Unlocking Financial Success: Exploring the Financial Quotient (FinQ)

With the divine blessings of our Honorable President Shri Mahant Devendra Dass Ji Maharaj, the School of Management and Commerce Studies (SGRRU) under the aegis of the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) organized a high-impact session titled "Unlocking Financial Success: Exploring the Financial Quotient (FinQ)." on 16th Feb 2026 in SBAS Auditorium. The event was held under the expert guidance of Director IQAC and Dean SMCS, Prof. (Dr.) Soniya Gambhir, and featured Mr. Gaurav Chauhan, Regional Head-Private Banking ICICI Bank, as the keynote speaker. Addressing an audience of future management professionals, Mr. Chauhan shared practical insights into how IQ measures logic and EQ measures emotions, FinQ (or Financial Intelligence) specifically measures an individual's ability to understand how money works, how to manage it, and how to make it grow. The session aimed to shift the students' mindset from being mere "earners" to becoming "wealth managers", wealth management, strategic financial planning, and navigating the modern banking landscape. By bridging the gap between academic theory and industry practice, this initiative underscores SGRR University's commitment to fostering the holistic development and financial empowerment of its students.
