The School of Engineering and Technology successfully organized the Level-1 round of Hackathon "Udbhav '25", an initiative aimed at fostering creativity and innovation among students. The event was funded and supported by the Information Technology Development Agency (ITDA), Dehradun, under the Uttarakhand AI Mission (U-AIM). The hackathon provided a valuable platform for young innovators to present solutions that can make a difference in the field of emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Virtual Reality (VR), and related domains.
The event was graced by the Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor, Professor Pillai, who inspired the participants to pursue excellence and innovation in technology. The projects were evaluated by Dr. G. P. Maithani and Mr. Anuj Saxena, CEO of Informatica and an esteemed industry expert, who encouraged the students and shared insights for further project enhancement.
Expressing gratitude to all dignitaries and participants, Dr. Sonika Kandari delivered the vote of thanks, appreciating the contribution of the Vice-Chancellor, judges, and organizers. The event was efficiently coordinated by Ms. Sneh Lata Aswal, Dr. Pradeep Semwal, and their dedicated organizing team.
The winning team - Aditya Shukla, Aditya Pratap Singh, Kashish Garg, and Tabish Parveen - impressed the judges with their innovative Virtual Reality-based project.
