Brief Profile and Achievements

Dr. Surendra Kaur Rawal is a committed Population and Medical Geographer. She has taught at BFIT, Doon University and HNB Garhwal Central University. Worked as a Research Associate on an ICSSR Project. She has published 3 books and 24 research papers in SCOPUS. Dr. Rawal is honored with the Young Scientist Award (2020) by Turkish Geographical Association and the Best Researcher Award (2021) by Professional Association in International Scientist Awards on Engineering, Science and Medicine. Delivered 18 oral talks and completed 3 months Distance Training Programme in GIS and GNSS, sponsored by IIRS and ISRO. She creates the Geography curriculum for Open University, Uttarakhand and worked as Joint Secretary at the 3-E Innovative Foundation of Northern India. She is a Life Member and Open Reviewer of various International Geographical Associations. Dr. Rawal strives to continue learning, foster a healthy work environment, and focus on institutional growth.
