School of Pharmaceutical Sciences (SPS) at Shri Guru Ram Rai University successfully organized a vibrant two-day Student Orientation Programme on August 17 and August 18, 2026, at the SPS Auditorium to welcome the newly admitted students.
The event commenced with a welcome address by Prof. (Dr.) G. Gnanarajan, Dean, SPS, who encouraged the freshers to embark on their academic journey with dedication and professional integrity. Head of various Departments (HoDs), along with class coordinators of all first-year programs, actively guided and interacted with the new students.
The two-day event featured a diverse blend of informative, cultural, and interactive sessions, including:
Anti-Ragging and Anti-Drug awareness screenings, faculty-senior fun introductions, open mic talent showcase, games, treasure hunt, photo booth activities, and an "Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam" tree planting drive.
Group musical performances by senior students, club zone briefings, future-self letter writing, campus mystery hunt, informal interaction with snacks, and a collective group photo session
The smooth execution of the event was coordinated by Event Coordinators Dr. Jyoti Kalra and Dr. Shaffi K. Tangri, along with active organizing support from student members of the Sanjeevani Council.
