Dr. Shailja Joshi is an accomplished mental health professional with over a decade of multidisciplinary experience in clinical practice, education, and psychological research. With a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Shri Guru Ram Rai University, her doctoral research focused on the efficacy of intermittent Theta Burst Stimulation in treating Persistent Somatoform Pain Disorder, contributing valuable insights to the growing field of neuromodulation and cognitive-behavioural neuroscience. Over four years of clinical research at the Department of Psychiatry, Shri Mahant Indresh Hospital, Dehradun, she explored treatment-resistant psychopathologies, neuroplasticity, and integrative approaches to chronic mental and physical health conditions. She has presented her findings at national and international conferences and published multiple papers in peer-reviewed journals.

She is also a passionate mental health advocate, with a consistent focus on community well-being, inclusive education, and public mental health awareness. She has participated in various outreach initiatives, staff development workshops, and mental health training programs. With additional certifications in Child & Adolescent Mental Health and Neuro-Dramatic Play, she continues to deepen her understanding of therapeutic methods tailored to different age groups and needs. Driven by curiosity and compassion, Dr. Joshi aims to expand existing research, collaborate across disciplines, and contribute meaningfully to the evolving landscape of psychological science and practice in India.
