200 Students Secured Excellent Placements

The Job Fest 4.0 was organized at the Pathri Bagh Campus of Shri Guru Ram Rai University (SGRRU) proved to be a significant platform in shaping the careers of young aspirants. A total of 200 students successfully secured campus placements, while over 1,000 students registered and actively participated in the grand employment fair. Students from various other universities and educational institutions also took part with great enthusiasm.

In this one-day job fair, 35 renowned companies from diverse sectors including IT, pharmaceuticals, management, agriculture, automobile, and finance participated. Prominent companies included ITC, Tech Mahindra, Muthoot Finance, SBI, HDB Financial Services, NIIT, Windlas, Just Agriculture, DigiUnee, and Smart Brains.

The selected students received attractive job offers with competitive salary packages, ensuring a strong start to their careers. According to Placement Coordinator Dr. Manisha Maiduli, the event proved to be an excellent opportunity for students.

The program was inaugurated by the University Registrar, Dr. Lokesh Gambhir, by lighting the ceremonial lamp. A key highlight of the job fair was that HR experts from participating companies provided on-the-spot guidance to students regarding interview preparation, career choices, and professional skills.

The selection process was conducted in three stages - written test, presentation, and interview-through which deserving candidates were chosen. Experts also addressed students’ queries and guided them in planning their future career paths.

The successful event saw significant contributions from the University’s Student Council, Industry Interface Cell, and Placement Cell. Coordinators, deans of all departments, faculty members, and a large number of students were present at the event.
