Welcome to SGRRU Nursing Induction Programme 2025

Grand Welcome for New Students at Shri Guru Ram Rai University College of Nursing

A grand Induction Programme was organized at Shri Guru Ram Rai University College of Nursing to welcome the newly admitted students. Faculty members, staff, and senior students warmly greeted the newcomers. The atmosphere was filled with joy and excitement amidst enchanting musical and cultural performances.

The program commenced with a guiding message from Hon’ble President of Shri Guru Ram Rai University, Shri Mahant Devendra Das Ji Maharaj. The inaugural ceremony, held on Wednesday at the auditorium of Shri Guru Ram Rai Institute of Medical and Health Sciences, began with the traditional lighting of the lamp by Dr. (Prof.) G. Ramalakshmi, Dean, College of Nursing; Dr. Malvika Kandpal, Dean, University Student Welfare Association; and Dr. Sanjay Sharma, Controller of Examinations.

Class coordinators of M.Sc. Nursing, Post Basic Nursing, B.Sc. Nursing, GNM, and ANM introduced the students to their course curriculum and future academic roadmap. The cultural segment featured delightful dance, song, and knowledge-based performances by the students that captivated everyone present.

Dr. (Prof.) G. Ramalakshmi welcomed the newcomers and elaborated on various aspects of the nursing curriculum. Dr. Malvika Kandpal familiarized the students with important aspects related to student welfare.

The event was graced by the presence of several faculty members including Dr. K. Panmari, Reena Maibam, Anugrah Robert, Garima Kshetri, Kanchan Negi, and Pragati Rawat.

The entire ceremony was filled with hope, energy, and happiness, as the new students took their first step toward a bright future in the field of nursing.
