SGRR College of Nursing organized an educational visit to the Regional Science Centre Dehradun under the guidance of Dean Prof. (Dr.) G. RamaLakshmi, SGRRIM&HS College of Nursing, to promote scientific awareness and curiosity among students. 

The visit was conducted on 27th and 28th February 2026 for B.Sc. Nursing 1st Semester students of Shri Guru Ram Rai University (SGRRU) in connection with the celebration of National Science Day, which commemorates the discovery of the Raman Effect by C. V. Raman.

 A total of 160 students participated in this educational visit, accompanied by faculty members Mr. Amit, Ms. Anugrah, Ms. Nitasha, Ms. Garima, and Ms. Simran. During the visit, students explored various scientific galleries and interactive exhibits related to physics, biology, human body systems, environmental science, and technology, Science Demonstration Shows, 3D Science Shows / Science Films, Taramandal (Planetarium) and observed practical demonstrations that helped them understand the application of scientific principles in daily life and healthcare. The visit aimed to encourage scientific thinking, promote curiosity, and provide experiential learning opportunities through interactive models and demonstrations.
