The School of Basic and Applied Sciences, Shri Guru Ram Rai University, Patel Nagar, Dehradun, organized an educational tour to Manali to provide students with learning opportunities beyond the classroom. Such tours are vital for enhancing practical knowledge, developing social skills, and exposing students to real-life environments. Located in the scenic Kullu Valley of Himachal Pradesh, Manali is renowned for its natural beauty, pleasant climate, and rich cultural heritage. The trip offered a perfect blend of education and recreation, allowing students to explore various aspects of geography, tourism, and environmental conservation.

During the tour, students visited several key locations, including the Hadimba Devi Temple, Solang Valley, Atal Tunnel, Kasol, and Mall Road. Each site provided unique learning experiences and insights into the region's lifestyle, traditions, and natural ecosystem. The tour was supervised by Prof. (Dr.) Naveen Gaurav (Head, Biotechnology) and Dr. Veena Mourya (Assistant Professor, Zoology)."
