  • Mehendi Competition Organized by the School of Education

The School of Education organized a Group-Wise Mehendi Competition on 9th October 2025 (Thursday) under the Art and Creative Activity program. The event commenced at 12:30 p.m. at the School of Education premises.

The competition was open to all B.Ed. I Year and PGDGC-1st Sem students, and participation was compulsory. The theme for the competition was “Traditional or Contemporary Mehendi Design.” Each group enthusiastically participated and showcased their creativity, aesthetic sense, and artistic skills through intricate and innovative Mehendi designs.

Participants brought their own Mehendi cones and related materials, as per the event guidelines. The designs were judged on various parameters such as design creativity, neatness and clarity, theme presentation, and overall appearance. The students displayed great enthusiasm and competitive spirit throughout the event.

The judges appreciated the participants for their efforts and artistic talent. The event not only provided a platform for students to express their creativity but also helped in promoting cultural art forms among them. The program concluded successfully with an announcement of winners and a vote of thanks to the participants, judges, and organizers.

Winner of the competition-

  • First position :  Pratiksha and Yashi PGDGC-1st Sem
  • Second position : Aanchal and Aakshi B. Ed-1st Year Group-1 (Krishnamurthy)
  • Third position : Muskan and Ramandeep B. Ed-1st Year Group-3 (Vivekanand)

Overall, the Mehendi Competition was a vibrant and engaging event that reflected the artistic potential and teamwork of B.Ed. I Year students. Dean School of Education appreciated the participants and congratulated the winners and awarded with certificates.
