Report On Best Practice Cardio -Pulmonary Resuscitation Training Program - July 2026

Lecture and Live Demonstration Conducted at The School of Paramedical & Allied Health Sciences, Patel Nagar, Dehradun on 31/07/26

SGRRIM & HS, College of Nursing, MEDICAL SURGICAL NURSING DEPARTMENT conducted a CPR Training under the guidance of Prof. Dr. G. Ramalakshmi, Dean, College of Nursing, on 31/07/26 from 10:30 AM onwards at The School of Paramedical & Allied Health Sciences, Patel Nagar, Dehradun.

The training session was conducted by Mr. Ankit Dal [CPR Coordinator], Nursing Tutor, in the form of a lecture-cum-discussion and live demonstration on Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR). The session covered the principles, indications, steps, and importance of CPR, followed by a hands-on demonstration using a manikin. The students actively participated in the live demonstration and enthusiastically performed the return demonstration under supervision. They practised each step of CPR with keen interest, learned the correct CPR technique, and demonstrated a good understanding of the procedure, thereby enhancing their practical skills and confidence in performing CPR effectively.

A total of 106 students attended the programme, and their attendance was duly recorded. The faculty members of The School of Paramedical & Allied Health Sciences also actively participated in the programme and extended their valuable support, contributing to the successful conduct of the training session.

The programme was organized under the supervision of HOD Prof. Dr. K. Ponmari, with the support of Professor Komal Sandhu, Ms. Preeti, and Ms. Kanchan Negi. Feedback collected from the participants indicated that the session was highly informative and significantly improved their knowledge, practical skills, and confidence regarding CPR. Overall, the participants expressed great satisfaction with the learning experience and appreciated the interactive and hands-on approach of the training.
