The inaugural session of the “PUSA STARTUP BOOT CAMP 2025” was held on 25th April 2025 in the esteemed presence of Mr. Vipiul Shah, Manager – Marketing and Communications; Mr. Ritik Verma, Business Executive; Mr. Kiran Nayer, Manager – Incubation, PUSA, New Delhi (Government of India); Prof. Priyanka Bankoti, Dean – School of Agriculture; Prof. Dwarika Prasad Maithani, Director – IIC; Prof. Malvika Kandpal, Dean – Student Welfare; along with Heads of Departments, faculty members, and enthusiastic students from the School of Agriculture. On this occasion, the President of the University, Shri Mahant Devendra Das Ji Maharaj, extended his best wishes to the event organizers and participants. The event commenced with a warm welcome address by Prof. Priyanka Bankoti, Dean of the School of Agriculture Studies. This was followed by an inspiring talk by Prof. (Dr.) Dwarika Prasad Maithani, Director – IIC, who motivated both students and faculty. He highlighted the vast opportunities available to agriculture students in the field of startups and innovation. Later, Mr. Vipiul Shah, Mr. Ritik Verma, and Mr. Kiran Nayer addressed the gathering. They emphasized that for budding entrepreneurs, the journey of creating a business proposal and financial plan can be daunting, and pitching for funding requires significant effort and perseverance. Despite such challenges, they encouraged students by explaining how boot camps can play a vital role in supporting aspiring entrepreneurs. Startup Boot Camps provide an excellent opportunity for participants to understand the nuances of entrepreneurship. They help individuals develop the skills needed to draft effective business proposals and deliver impactful pitches. These camps also foster peer learning by bringing together like-minded individuals to share experiences and grow collectively. Moreover, boot camps offer a unique platform for participants to interact with experts, startup mentors, and distinguished academicians. Participants receive personalized mentorship and feedback, and get the opportunity to pitch their ideas before a panel of seasoned professionals.
