One-Day Workshop on Cinematography & Editing

The School of Humanities and Social Sciences, Department of Mass Communication, successfully organized a one-day workshop on Cinematography and Editing on 14 March 2026.

The workshop was conducted by Mr. Anil Vohra, a renowned cinematographer and director from Imagine Film Production. During the session, he shared his professional experience and practical knowledge about camera techniques, cinematography, and the fundamentals of video editing. The session provided students with valuable insights into visual storytelling and the technical aspects of film production.

Students of Mass Communication actively participated in the workshop and gained practical knowledge. The interactive session helped students learn about the real-world practices of the media and film industry.

On this occasion Head, Department of Mass Communication, Prof. (Dr.) Ashish Kulshrestha, warmly introduced the guest speaker and highlighted his professional achievements in the field of cinematography and film production.

Faculty members Dr. Rajendra Singh Negi, Dr. Asha Bala, Dr. Arti Bhatt and Deputy Dean , Student Welfare  Dr. Anuja Rohilla were also present during the workshop. Their presence supported the initiative and encouraged students to actively participate in the learning session.
