The Student Council “ASTITAVA” of the School of Paramedical Sciences organized a SCIENCE MELA on the occasion of National Science Day 2023 in the School Campus on 28th Feb 2023. Events conducted were Poster Competition and Science Model exhibition (Competition) based on the theme “Global Science for Global wellbeing”. The Programme began with the welcome address followed by lamp lighting by the esteemed Guest of Honor Dr Ranjana Rohilla, SGRRIMHS and all the Respected Faculty Members. Opening of the event was the Speech from the Guest to discuss the important contribution of Sir C.V Raman and his eminent discovery for which Sir was awarded the Noble Prize along with the impact of Science on human lives globally followed by the quiz to enhance the student interaction. The guest was awarded the Momento as a token of appreciation. A few students gave speeches and shared their thoughts and perspectives on National Science Day. Our Judges of the event selected the best Posters and Science working Models based on their presentations and explanations. Respected Dean, SPMS presented the medals to all the winners and motivated them. Student participation and enthusiasm were appreciated. The Program ended up with the Vote of Thanks.
