School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, SGRRU has inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Planet herb life Sciences Pvt. Ltd. On 4th Feb 2026 to Expedite Research, Innovation Training, and Placement.
The MoU was signed by Registrar, SGRRU Dr. Lokesh Gambhir and Plant Head Planet Herb Life Sciences Pvt. Ltd Mr. Vinod Kumar Tiwari sir in the gracious presence of Hon'ble Vice Chancellor Prof. Prathapan K. Pillai Sir.
Prof. Dr. Divya Juyal, (Dean School of Pharmaceutical Sciences) along with HOD's of various departments were present in the signing ceremony, held in the premises of SGRRU.

Ltd is a Herbal Nutraceuticals and Cosmetics company, Manufacturing a large range of products with application to Joint pain, Cough and cold, Gynecological disorders, Digestion Anti-obesity, Hepato-Protective, Diabetes, Cholesterol management it is certified by GMP -AYUSH WHO -GMP and FSSAI and having an Approved manufacturing facility with Ministry of Health ,UAE, Sri Lanka, Tanzania and Bhutan.
This MOU aims to strong the areas of pharmaceutical research, training, internships, skill development, and knowledge exchange, thereby creating opportunities for students and faculty while contributing to the advancement of healthcare and life sciences.
The MOU was signed to foster collaboration in the areas of research, innovation, education, placement and training. According to the MOU, the two parties will jointly undertake research projects, organize workshops and seminars, and facilitate internships and placements for pharmacy students.
Prof. Dr. Divya Juyal said that the MOU will provide a platform for pharmacy students and faculty to interact with industry experts and gain exposure to the latest trends and developments in the pharmaceutical sector.
The MOU is expected to benefit both organizations by creating a synergy between academia and industry and promoting the advancement of pharmaceutical science and technology.
