The School of Humanities and Social Sciences, Department of Mass Communication, successfully organized a 4-day educational study tour from 17th to 20th March 2026 to Mathura, Vrindavan and Agra, offering students a meaningful blend of academic learning and cultural exploration.
Accompanied by faculty members Dr. Asha Bala and Dr. Arti Bhatt, the tour was carefully designed to provide practical exposure beyond the classroom. Students explored historically and spiritually significant sites, gaining deeper insights into India’s rich cultural heritage while also understanding the role of communication in tourism, media, and public engagement.
During the tour, students actively participated in field observations, content creation, and interactive discussions, which enhanced their practical skills, creativity, and teamwork. The visit to Mathura and Vrindavan offered a glimpse into religious and cultural communication practices, while Agra’s iconic heritage sites provided valuable exposure to heritage communication and tourism management.
Overall, the study tour was an enriching and memorable experience, fostering academic growth, collaborative learning, and a deeper appreciation of culture and communication among students.
