The Patel Nagar Campus Library is a fully automated knowledge centre with RFID-enabled services, 45,000+ books, digital resources, e-journals, research support, plagiarism detection, and student-focused learning initiatives.
The Library at the Patel Nagar Campus of Shri Guru Ram Rai University is a fully automated knowledge centre equipped with Barcode and RFID technology for efficient resource management and enhanced security. All library operations, including attendance, book issue, and return services, are digitally managed through an integrated library management system.
The library houses a rich collection of over 45,000 books and subscribes to 90 print periodicals, including journals, magazines, and newspapers. To support teaching, learning, and research, the University provides access to Elsevier’s ScienceDirect Subject Collection, subscribed e-resources, online databases, and e-journals through a dedicated E-Resource Centre with internet-enabled computers.
A well-equipped Faculty Reference Section offers a peaceful environment for study and research. To promote academic integrity, the University also provides access to Turnitin plagiarism detection software for researchers and faculty members.
The library regularly organizes Book Exhibitions, Library Orientation Programmes, and user-awareness activities to encourage reading habits, effective use of resources, and lifelong learning among students.
