On 01.11.2023, 13 states and Union Territory Foundation day was celebrated at Raj Bhawan (Governor House). On this occasion Rajyapal Lieutenant General Gurmit Singh felicitated the students (Current and Pass out batches) of various states. The students which were felicitated from School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Shri Guru Ram Rai, University, Dehradun named Dr. Assem Babbar (2016-2019), Mr. Karan Mahajan, Ms. Manushree Rawat, Mr. Rajat Rawat, Mr. Binay kumar Yadav (On going Batch).

Later, Lieutenant General Gurmit Singh said on this occasion that celebrating the foundation days of other states is promoting social integration and cultural exchange.
