SGRRU

School of Engineering and Technology commemorated Engineers’ Day on 15th September, 2025 with a technically enriching and intellectually engaging program. The event honoured the enduring legacy and critical contributions of engineers to societal advancement, while also serving as a platform to inspire students through discussions on emerging technologies and foundational engineering principles.

The event commenced with a series of technical presentations delivered by undergraduate students:

  • Nitin Godiyal (B.Tech CS, 3rd Semester) delivered an informative session on Cybersecurity, underscoring the critical need for securing digital infrastructure in an increasingly connected world. His presentation covered key threats, risk mitigation strategies, and current trends in information security.
  • Nandini (B.Tech CS, 1st Semester) presented on Machine Learning, elucidating its application in automation, data-driven decision-making, and predictive modeling. She highlighted real-world use cases across industries, from finance to autonomous systems.
  • Vidhi (B.Tech CS, 1st Semester) offered insights into Artificial Intelligence, discussing its integration in sectors such as healthcare, customer service, and smart technologies. Her talk emphasized the transformative potential of AI in solving complex human problems.
  • Anjali (B.Sc IT, 1st Semester) concluded the session with a presentation on Core Engineering Concepts, Outlining the Fundamental Scientific and mathematical principles that form the backbone of technological innovation and engineering problem-solving.

A dynamic interactive Q&A session followed the presentations, fostering critical thinking and dialogue between the speakers and the audience. This segment enhanced the academic value of the event by encouraging active participation and peer learning.

The program concluded with light refreshments, providing an informal setting for continued discussion and networking among students and faculty.

Event was attended by all students of Undergraduate Programs.
