Dr. Yogendr Bahuguna

Area of Interest Pharmacognosy, Phytochemistry, Indigenous drugs, Herbal Drug Technology and Herbal Formulations.

He has 13.6 Years of experience in academics and research. He has published research papers at various National & International Journals (Malaysia, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, USA & Bulgaria) and also presented research papers at National and International conferences along with many National Seminars and Workshops

  • He has been awarded by a YOUNG SCIENTIST AWARD in 5th Uttarakhand State Science and Technology Congress - 2010 by Uttarakhand Council for Science and Technology (UCOST), Uttarakhand Government, India.
  • First Pharmacy Professional in Uttarakhand State being awarded by a NASI- SWARNA JAYANTI PURASKAR for Best Poster Presentation in 86th Annual Session of The National Academy of Sciences, India at Uttarakhand Council for Science and Technology (UCOST), Uttarakhand Government, India during 2-4th December 2016.
  • He is a First Pharmacy Professional from Uttarakhand State to get Shortlisted for Training Course on “Research Techniques in Pharmaceutical Sciences” at UGC Networking Resource Centre at University Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Panjab University, Chandigarh.
  • He was shortlisted & enrolled as Research Associate in National Mission on Himalayan Studies-Himalayan Research Fellowship (NMHS-HRF) on “Preparation of Resource Atlas for Himalayan State of Uttarakhand” at Uttarakhand State Council for Science & Technology (UCOST), Uttarakhand Government, Vigyan Dham, Jhajra, Dehradun – 248 007, Uttarakhand, India from 02nd July 2016 to 31st July 2017. He is also co-author of Thirteen Books of Resource Atlas of 13 districts of Uttarakhand State publishing by UCOST, Dehradun – 248 007, Uttarakhand.
  • He is the Youngest and First Pharmacy Professional in Uttarakhand who conducted the duties of Vice Chancellor in SGRR University during his tenure as OSD to Vice Chancellor
  • He has Co-ordinated the Technical Session on Medical Sciences including Pharmaceutical Sciences in 11th, 12th, 13th & 14th Uttarakhand State Science & Technology Congress (USSTC) at Uttarakhand State Council for Science & Technology (UCOST).
  • Presently nominated as Member, Pharmacy Council of India, New Delhi by Uttarakhand Government.
  • He is Member, M.Pharm., Syllabus Committee, Pharmacy Council of India, New Delhi
