Brief Profile:

Dr. Yash Deep Singh pursued his post-graduation in English Literature and was awarded a Doctorate degree in 2010 by University of Allahabad (a Central University), for his research work focusing on the narrative techniques employed by the celebrated novelist Salman Rusdie in his various novels. He has been teaching English to undergraduate and postgraduate students since 2011 and is currently serving as Associate Professor (English), at Shri Guru Ram Rai University, Dehradun, India. He has published research papers in several national and international journals, presented papers at many conferences and supervised research scholars in the field of English Literature. His areas of interest include Feminism, Postcolonial Literature, Subaltern Literature, Dalit Literature, Kashmiri Literature, Religious Literature and Innovative Teaching-Learning Practices.
