Brief Profile and Achievements:

Dr. Himanki Dabral did her PhD in the year 2016 from G. B. Pant University of Agriculture & Technology, Pantnagar. She gained her MSc degree in Biotechnology in the year 2010 from HNB Garhwal University, Srinagar, Uttarakhand. She has 8 years of teaching and research experience in the field of Agriculture. Has expertise in the field of Genetics & Plant breeding focussing major areas of molecular biology and plant tissue culture. She has developed single cross maize hybrids during her research work and vast knowledge on the handling of molecular markers. She has received Teaching and research excellence award by DBT, Govt of India. She has been awarded in writing competition in “Siksha Shilpi Ahaar Kranti” organized by Shiksha Shilpi (An initiative of Vijnana Bharati) & Global Indian Scientists & Technocrats Forum (GIST) in the year 2021, young scientist award by Kalp Laboratories, Mathura in 2020, received appreciation award in several online programmes organized by Samvetan society for Social & Scientific Research in collaboration with and Vigyan Prasar, DST, Gov. of India organizing. She has completed one research project funded by Uttarakhand Science Education & Research Centre, Government of Uttarakhand. She has taught both under graduate and post graduate courses. She has published 8 research papers, 10 conference proceedings, 4 book chapters in journal of national and international repute.
