Award and Achievements

Dr. Anil Kumar Saxena is currently working as Associate Professor, Department of Soil Science, School of Agricultural Sciences, Shri Guru Ram Rai University, Dehradun, Uttarakhand. Dr. Saxena has more than 15 years of working experience in teaching, research and extension. He has Post graduated and also acquired Doctorate in Soil Science from G.B. Pant University of Agriculture & Technology, Pantnagar, Uttarakhand. He has qualified ICAR-NET in same subject. Dr Saxena has 8 years of administrative experience as Head and Principal/Dean Incharge in Faculty of Agriculture, SGRR (PG) College and School of Agricultural Sciences, SGRRU, Dehradun respectively. Dr. Saxena successfully guided 12 students leading to PG degree. Dr. Saxena has to his credit 48 research papers, one research bulletin, two books, one edited book, 18 book chapters, 12 popular articles, radio talks and technical folders. He has handled and completed one UGC funded project. He is also involved as resource person in organic farming and organic certification as well as FSSAI Licence process under SGRR University, Dehradun.  Dr Saxena has organised various trainings in field of Agriculture and also worked as convener of Second State Science and Technology seminar organised by Uttarakhand Science Education and Research Centre (USERC), Dehradun in 2019.
