The Department of Horticulture provides extensive hands-on practical training through its well-maintained instructional and research farm. Students gain practical experience by participating in demonstrations and experiments on fruits, vegetables, flowers, spices, plantation crops, medicinal and aromatic plants, nursery production, and protected cultivation systems. The farm enables students to learn modern horticultural practices including precision horticulture, drip irrigation, fertigation, canopy management, propagation techniques, protected cultivation, and sustainable horticultural production.
