The Community Health Nursing Department successfully organized various activities on the occasion of World Health Day with the aim of promoting health awareness among the community and school students.Theme of the Day-The theme for this year’s World Health Day was "Together with health.Stand with science” focusing on improving overall health and well-being. The program was conducted on 7TH April 2026 at RHTC Mothrowala and Primary school Ramgarh, where students and faculty actively participated with great enthusiasm.

Objectives

  • To raise awareness about the importance of preventive health and hygiene.
  • To educate school children on nutrition, physical activity, and mental well-being.
  • To engage the community through interactive methods like rallies and street plays.
  • To promote collective responsibility in maintaining health and preventing diseases.
  • To strengthen collaboration between nursing students, faculty, and the local community.

Activities Conducted

1. Health Awareness Rally

  • Nursing students and faculty organized a rally with slogans and placards.
  • Messages focused on hygiene, vaccination, balanced diet, and disease prevention.
  • The rally covered nearby community areas to maximize outreach.

2. Nukkad Natak (Street Play)

  • A street play was performed to spread health messages in a culturally relatable way.
  • Themes included sanitation, lifestyle diseases, and healthy habits.
  • The interactive format attracted strong community participation.

3. Health Talk in School

  • A health education session was conducted for school children.
  • Topics covered: personal hygiene, nutrition, importance of exercise, and mental health.
  • Visual aids and Q&A sessions made the talk engaging and effective.
