Shri Guru Ram Rai College of Education organized an Art and Craft Workshop for B.Ed. First Year students from 6 to 10 October 2026 under the curriculum paper EPC-3: Drama and Art in Education. Conducted by expert instructor Mrs. Reena Jain from Fevicryl (Pidilite Industries), the five-day workshop engaged over 60 prospective teachers in experiential learning, artistic techniques, and creative pedagogical practices.
On 22 October 2026, an exhibition was held on campus to display the diverse handmade artefacts created by the participants. The event demonstrated the students' craftsmanship and underscored the role of art-integrated pedagogy in fostering engaging classroom environments.
The exhibition was inaugurated by invited guests Prof. (Dr.) Preeti Tewari (Dean, School of Humanities and Social Sciences) and Prof. (Dr.) Hitendra Chauhan (Dean, School of Agricultural Sciences). The dignitaries commended the students' creative work and distributed Pidilite-Fevicryl participation certificates to the candidates.
The entire event was conducted under the guidance of Prof. (Dr.) Malvika Sati Kandpal (Dean, School of Education) and coordinated by Prof. (Dr.) Balbir Kaur and Ms. Rakhi Chauhan.
