Session:1
School of pharmaceutical sciences, SGRR university under the aegis of alumni association of SGRR university organized a fun filled and encouraging laughter yoga session on 27th Jan 2024 at 11 A.M as a part of alumni meet 2024. An alumni gallery displaying pictures of proud alumni was also inaugurated at the event. Video messages of alumni settled overseas were also screened during the occasion. The guest of the day was Dr. Harish Rawat a proud alumni from the batch of 1998, who is a guinness world record holder and international laughter yoga guru. University officials, dignitaries, deans & students of various departments enthusiastically participated and enjoyed the occasion thoroughly. Nearly 800 individuals attended the event cheerfully. The purpose of the event was to achieve “depression free and stress-free world” by implementing principles of laughter yoga therapy. Dean, school of pharmaceutical sciences, Dr. Divya Juyal specified the importance of alumni and stated that “alumni are the torch bearers for any academic organization, they enlighten the path for their juniors to follow and the juniors must learn from their experiences”.
Session:2
At around 3 p.m. An alumni student interaction was organised in the department of school of pharmaceutical sciences. Alumni having expertise in respective fields were invited and an interaction session was conducted in the auditorium of sps. Mr. Abhishek tyagi, from batch of 1998, currently working as senior director, clinical trial management, syneos health, ghaziabad shared challenges and current opportunities in the field of clinical research. Mr. Abhishek gupta, from batch of 1998 an entrepreneur, onika organics and president of ayurvedic association discussed the business prospects in pharmaceutical field. Dr. Piyush mittal from the batch of 2004 (m.pharm.) Currently working as professor and hod in the pharmacy practice dept. & pharmacology at teerthankar mahaveer university interacted with the students. Mr. Anit saini from the batch of 2004, currently working as senior pharmacist in survey of india, specified the jobs opportunities in government sector. A question answer session was facilitated for the students to learn from their seniors and experts of specific fields. Students actively participated, asked questions and got their queries answered by the alumni regarding career opportunities. Dean, school of pharmaceutical sciences, dr. Divya juyal extend her warmest wishes and acknowledged all the alumni for being magnificent, kind and supportive.

A get-together celebration at hotel m.j. Residency, dehradun was organized to cherish the memories of alumni on 27th jan. 2024 from 7:30 p.m. Alumni along with their family members were invited to enjoy the dinner followed by music and dance. Nostalgia lingered as alumni shared their journey and memories during the carnival. The fun filled day ends with the recollections of stories from the past, laughter, greetings and wishes to one another.
