About International Students

The Directorate of International Affairs (DIA) at Shri Guru Ram Rai University was established to provide strategic support to all international issues of the University which would help build a multicultural and global environment for one and all. The Office serves as the vital conduit between the University and stakeholders worldwide. The office aims to promote international academic collaboration by internationalization of educational services delivery and operations thus, fortifying the ties between the institution and the outside world. These collaborations encompass various aspects such as student/faculty exchange programs, training initiatives, international placements, and admissions. Notably, Shri Guru Ram Rai University is committed to providing international students with an enriching educational experience characterized by:

Our university prides itself on its extensive international connections, which are continuously nurtured through diverse activities aimed at enhancing the overall student experience, with a special emphasis on fostering cross-cultural interactions for our international student community. The DIA office is headed by the Director, International Affairs and an Associate Director, International Affairs. The Admission team comprising of senior faculty and administrators are also functional with the office.

This office is responsible for undertaking various activities such as:

• To focus on the admissions of International students at Shri Guru Ram Rai University.
• To provide relevant information about the admissions process to all prospective foreign students 
• To organize everything pertaining to receiving and assisting international students. 
• To carry out marketing campaigns and brand-building initiatives overseas
• To resolve the complaints of international students regarding all issues
• To serve as an intermediary between the sponsoring organization and the international students
• Single point contact for FRRO/e - FRRO registration
• To encourage networking among students 
• To provide all possible help to foreign students to adjust to their new cultural surroundings and ensure a comfortable and enriching stay in India.
