Prof. (Dr.) Omnarayan Tiwari is Professor and Dean, School of Yogic Science & Naturopathy, Shri Guru Ram Rai University, Dehradun, Uttarakhand, and serves as a Member (Yoga Expert), Inter-Ministerial Committee on International Day of Yoga (IDY), Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India.
With 28 years of teaching and 18 years of research experience, he is a distinguished academic in Yoga Education, Meditation, Yoga Therapy, and Ayurvedic Therapy. He has guided 9 Ph.D. scholars, published 32 research papers, authored 8 books, and holds a patent. He has successfully completed a CCRYN-funded research project and has organized numerous national and international conferences.
Prof. Tiwari has held several prestigious academic and administrative positions, including Professor, Head, Dean, Director CIQA, IQAC Coordinator, and Member of Executive Council and Board of Management at leading universities. He has received multiple national and international honors, including the Yuva Yoga Ratan Award, Brahmarishi Samman Award, and Lifetime Achievement Award, in recognition of his outstanding contributions to yoga education and research.
