Workshop Conducted by EdIndia Foundation

Topic: How Do Children Learn A workshop on the topic “How Do Children Learn” was organized by EdIndia Foundation on 29th October 2025 at the School of Education, SGRRU, Dehradun. The session was conducted by Rishabh Kamboj, who shared valuable insights on various ways children learn and develop understanding through different learning processes.

The session began with an introduction to the concept of learning, where he explained the importance of learning by doing, learning through experience, and constructive learning. He emphasized that every child learns differently, and it is important for teachers to understand these diverse learning styles

Rishabh Kamboj engaged the students in interactive activities by dividing them into groups and assigning short tasks that demonstrated the process of learning through collaboration and participation. He also shared interesting stories and real-life examples to make the topic more relatable and engaging for all participants. Additionally, pre-test and post-test assessments were conducted to evaluate the participants’ understanding before and after the workshop. This helped in assessing the effectiveness of the session and the improvement in knowledge gained.

The workshop was highly interactive, informative, and insightful, providing teacher trainees with practical knowledge on how to make classroom learning more child-centered and effective.
