School of Management and Commerce Studies organized a comprehensive lecture and workshop focused on the National Board of Accreditation (NBA) and the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) on 23 December 2025. The esteemed speaker for the session was Prof. (Dr.) Malvika Kandpal , DSW and Dean School of Education, Shri Guru Ram Rai University. This session was mandatory for all institutional heads and faculty members as part of the year-end quality assurance drive. The lecture provided a deep dive into the 2025-26 ranking parameters, specifically addressing the newly introduced Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) category and the strict negative marking for retracted research papers in NIRF. For NBA accreditation, experts outlined the revised Self-Assessment Report (SAR) requirements for technical programs. The session emphasized that maintaining high standards in "Research and Professional Practice" is no longer optional but a core requirement for institutional survival in the competitive academic landscape. Attendees were instructed on streamlining data collection to ensure consistency across both ranking and accreditation portals.
