International FDP Conducted Successfully by SPAHS, SGRRU

The School of Paramedical & Allied Health Sciences (SPAHS), Shri Guru Ram Rai University, Dehradun, successfully conducted an International Faculty Development Programme (FDP) during 16–21st January 2026. The programme was organized with the objective of strengthening academic competencies, promoting outcome-based education, and enhancing research and quality assurance practices among faculty members. The FDP was conducted in a hybrid mode, ensuring wider outreach and accessibility.

The programme covered diverse and relevant themes including NEP 2020 implementation strategies, Outcome-Based Education (OBE), NBA accreditation processes, NIRF ranking parameters, innovative teaching–learning methods, and research-oriented academic practices.

The FDP witnessed enthusiastic participation from faculty members, academicians, researchers, and professionals from various institutions across Uttarakhand and India. The sessions were delivered by eminent resource persons with rich academic and industry experience, who shared valuable insights on contemporary educational practices, research methodologies, accreditation frameworks, and institutional excellence. Feedback received from participants reflected a high level of satisfaction and acknowledged the programme’s relevance to their professional development.

Overall, the FDP was a significant academic initiative that contributed meaningfully to capacity building and reinforced SPAHS’s role as a proactive institution in higher education and professional development.
