Brief Profile

Dr. Iftikhar Alam, was born in village Garh of district Haridwar, Uttarakhand. He earned his Ph.D. degree in Agricultural Engineering (Major- Process and Food Engineering, Minor- Food Technology) from Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, Pantnagar. He started his Professional Career as an Assistant Professor from Doon PG College of Agricultural Sciences and Technology Selaqui, Dehradun in 2009. He resigned there to continue his higher education now he is serving in School of Agricultural Sciences, Shri Guru Ram Rai University. and has a combined experience of 4 years as an Assistant Professor. He completed his Graduation and Master degree from G. B. Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, Pantnagar also. He was awarded with UGC Maulana Azad National Fellowship for Minority Students (MANF) during his Ph.D. He qualified ICAR-NET exam in year 2017. He has participated and presented papers in National and International conferences, seminars, symposiums and workshops. He has published, research papers and articles in reputed National and International Journals.
