The Department of Mass Communication, Shri Guru Ram Rai University, organized a special interactive session for students who are interested in pursuing a career in the government media sector. This academic and career-oriented session was arranged with the objective of guiding students about opportunities in government communication services and related media fields.
The session was held on Monday, 9 February, in the Department of Mass Communication. The guest speaker for the session was Mr. Anil Datt Sharma, a PIB Officer from the Indian Information Service (IIS).
During the interactive session, Mr. Sharma guided students on career opportunities in Government Media Services, with special emphasis on the Indian Information Service (IIS). He also explained the recruitment process, eligibility criteria, and effective preparation strategies for students aspiring to enter government media organizations.
The session provided a valuable opportunity for students to directly interact with an experienced IIS officer and gain important insights into building a successful career in the government media sector.
