SGRRIM&HS College of Nursing Conducts CPR Training for SGRRU SOE B.Ed. 1st Year Students

Lecture and live demonstration Conducted for, SGRRU, SOE, B.Ed. 1st year Student, Patel Nagar Dehradun.

SGRRIM& HS, College of Nursing, Obstetrics & Gynecological Nursing Department conducted CPR Training under the guidance of Prof (Dr) G. Ramalakshmi, Dean College of Nursing and Prof. (Dr) Dineshwori Paonam, H.O.D, Department of Obstetrics & Gynecological Nursing on 12/ 02/ 26 at 11:00 am to 1pm; there were 27 students of SGRRU B.Ed. 1st year student, Patel Nagar, Dehradun who were present during the Training session. The training session was introduced by Dr. Dineshwori Paonam

Training session was started with pretest followed by lecture session engaged by Ms. Kirti Harjai, Associate. Professor. in the form of lecture cum discussion about the CPR and its various aspects and made the trainee aware about the importance of Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation. Later on, Demonstration was given in Skill Lab by Mr. Ankit, CPR Training Coordinator. Interactive session was conducted by Ms. Sheenu Singh and Ms. Sameeksha, Nursing Tutor with students. Students were asked to do return demonstration on CPR on mannequin. Subsequently posttest was conducted.

Overall Pretest scores show 42% and overall Post-test score shows 92% signifies that the participants gained adequate knowledge from the CPR Training program after Administration

of theory class & demonstration. Students were satisfied with their new learning. Students appreciate instructors who correct mistakes such as improper hand placement and shallow compressions without making them feel discouraged.

Student feedback for CPR Training:

The instructor had very good knowledge and made the training program more enjoyable. The feedback demonstration on the manikin was incredibly helpful for learning the correct consistent, and deep compression rate.
