Badge Ceremony of Student Council – Utkarsh (SHSS)

On 16th September 2025, the School of Humanities & Social Sciences, Shri Guru Ram Rai University, organized the Badge Ceremony to formally induct the newly elected Student Council – Utkarsh. The event was a proud moment, celebrating student leadership, responsibility, and teamwork.

The ceremony commenced with a warm welcome to the esteemed dignitaries and faculty members. The highlight of the program was the investiture of badges to the council members, symbolizing their commitment and accountability towards the student community.

The badges were conferred upon the council members by Dean, Student Welfare –Prof. (Dr.) Malvika Sati Kandpal, and Dean, SHSS, Prof. (Dr.) Preeti Tiwary. In her motivational speech, Prof. (Dr.) Malvika Sati Kandpal emphasized the importance of leadership, teamwork, and discipline in shaping the holistic development of students. Prof. (Dr.) Preeti Tiwary, in her address, encouraged the council to act as a bridge between students and faculty, fostering a vibrant academic and cultural environment within SHSS.

The event was filled with pride and enthusiasm, as the council members took an oath to work with dedication, integrity, and commitment. The ceremony concluded with applause, group photographs, and a renewed spirit of collaboration among students and faculty.
