The event served as an inspiring platform for students to demonstrate creativity, innovation, and entrepreneurial potential in the field of agriculture.

Highlights of the Event

A meaningful environmental initiative, “Hug the Old Mango Tree,” was introduced by the visionary Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Prathapan K. Pillai. This gesture symbolized respect for nature, promoted ecological wareness, and encouraged students to connect emotionally with the environment. The moment was witnessed by all faculties, students, and volunteers, making it a truly historic and unifying event for the School of Agricultural Sciences.

The exhibition showcased an impressive range of student-led innovations and initiatives-from Black Soldier Fly (BSF) models for waste management to exotic fruit stalls featuring passion fruits. Students from both undergraduate and postgraduate programs actively participated by putting up diverse stalls, including:

  • Innovative agricultural models
  • Value-added products
  • Lip-smacking food counters
  • Agri-entrepreneurial concepts and demonstrations

The campus came alive with vibrant folk dance performances, hands-on workshops, and culturally rich food stalls, which filled the atmosphere with energy, enthusiasm, and creativity.

Cultural & Culinary Experience

The esteemed guests and visitors enthusiastically reviewed the stalls and savored traditional Pahari delicacies, including “Arsa” and “Urd Dal ka Pakode”, along with many other regional dishes prepared by the students. The combination of innovation, culture, and entrepreneurship created a memorable experience for everyone present.
